Miss Egerton-Morris

I am incredibly excited and proud to be the Year 5 teacher at Newtown Church of England Primary School. Helping young children realise their potential and supporting them in their journey to reaching their dreams is my true passion. After always knowing I wanted to be a teacher, I began my degree at the University of Chester studying Primary Education with QTS (5-11) where I gained a First Class Degree. After spending some time getting to know schools in Shropshire on supply, I began my journey at Newtown. 

In my spare time, I love going to the gym and often go before work. I also really enjoy being with my little best friend Martha, my golden Cockapoo. I am really fortunate to have such lovely and supportive family and friends, who I love spending time with. I am also a big fan of Liverpool Football Club and I enjoy going to watch them play, especially if they win! I really enjoy listening to music and at any opportunity will go to concerts or festivals. 

I am really looking forward to continuing my teaching career at Newtown and I wholeheartedly love being here and spending time with the children and my amazing colleagues.
